Use to be there was a rivalry between Prince and Michael Jackson.

Both were born in 1958, were very successful, but were also known for the very weird personal eccentricities.  For most of this time Michael Jackson has held the greater popularity, (King of Pop and all that), but I always thought Prince was way more musically talented.  Prince has certainly been much more prolific.  And, despite all his weirdness, Prince never mutilated himself or slept with underage boys.  He handled success and Michael did not.
